The standard rotors will do fine for normal driving. If you want an upgrade for more 'spirited' driving, you can consider a slotted rotor. Try to stay with rotors that remove a minimal amout of material from the rotor.

I would look at something line the PowerSlot rotors or Brembo Sport slotted.. Both use a very narrow slot that removes minimal mass from the rotor and are coated to resist rust.

cross-drilled and slotted rotors help when your brake pads get too hot and start outgassing. I think that's the word. Anyway, with a normal, flat brake rotor the gas gets between the pad and rotor and reduces your braking effeciency. with slots/holes, the gas can get out.

also, people like to say that drilled rotors cool down better/faster. but with a drilled rotor, there's less overall rotor mass, blah blah blah, warped rotor, blah blah blah.

that's just my knowledge, I could be wrong.

It will eat pads a little bit faster from experience. But in all honesty it's a good way to go :)

We carry Hawk pads if you haven't taken a look at our prices.

While we don't have the S13/S14 listed... just email or call us and we can look up the price for you :)

We also carry stainless brake lines for your application. Those are $75 for a full 4 wheel (front and rear) set.

It doesn't sound like you paid attention to either side of this problem. Do some research because you are wrong.
