looking to replace the OEM rotors with non-rusting (coated) rotors. Are all four of the rotors the same on an m35 and m35x?

Per FSM, the M35/M45 rotors are the same - Front=28mm new/26mm min; Rear =16 mm new/14 mm min. Make sure the replacement rotors will give you the same or better stopping power than OEM.

So does that mean the G37 BBK would fit the X models as well?

If what isn't a sport model?

The BBK is the stock setup with 14" rotors from a sport model G37. They are a direct bolt-on for the M35 and M45 06' and up. If the M35x and M45x share the same brake components as the non X model then the G37 sport BBK should fit them as well.

If the G isn't a sport model with akebonos.

Thats exactly the BBK I was talking about. Why wouldn't they fit an X model if they fit a non X model?

hub and spindle/knuckle are different. And the wheel offset/clearance.

Right - the M35/45 non sport wheel only needs a spacer just like the M35/45 sport wheels do.

But the Rotors are the same and so are the Calipers - so the BBK should fit the X model exactly the same as it fits the Non - X model.

I'm not seeing your reasoning for them not fitting, can you elaborate anymore on why?

thanks, I'm just trying to open up the G37 sport BBK to the X guys as well.

Wow. you're fun to talk to. Just like with the oil thread... Well the M35, M45, V36 model G35 and G37 all use the exact same spindle, so the calipers should be swappable between all models, as well as rotors. Most of the hubs are the same, between RWD and AWD models. The fitment issues would be due to wheel and hub combinations between 18" and 19" wheels and the AWD hubs and RWD hubs, but I doubt the hubs are any more than 2mm apart in offset.that answer your Q's?
