so a couple of months after buying my s13,i finally decided to change my rear brake pads and rotors. Here are some pictures of it. Took me about 45 mins to install them since the rear caliper gave me a hard time trying to push it. There's nothing wrong with it though. I didn't buy any performance rotors or big brakes yet. I decided that I would run my car for a while before i start upgrading it.

old rotors

old pads

new rotors in

new rotors in the left, old on the right

caliper

I also installed my hks catback exhaust in. I'll upload more pictures of the exhaust later. Tell me what you guys think about it.

i got the Posi Quiet brake pads and the rotors are Wearever brake rotors. Nothing really big about it. I just wanted to replace the old ones that was in my car since the previous owner never really took care of it. Well i guess that's what i get for getting it for only $500

Looks like you made the right choice. Those pads were looking bad.

i know, the rotors were also making a lot of noise. idk if it was because of the pads or the rotors

If anyone has a 97-98 I still have a set of Hawk HPS front pads for sale. I'll give you a good deal to take them off my hands. Love them on my '96.

I'm seeing more Gainesville people on NICO lately, that's a good thing!
