Hello,

I have a 2000 X-Terra 3.3 V6 with 4-wheel drive. I’m trying to remove the brake rotor, but after removing the center “auto locking” cap the rotor won’t pull off. Is there something holding it onto the axle I can’t see?

Thanks,
Fred

Probably the axle nut is still in place. The hub and rotor are an assembly that gets removed as a unit. Be careful when you remove the hub, don't drop the outer bearing.
