Hey everyone, took my '01 QX4 to my mechanic today (for creaking brakes) and he told me I need new rotors in the front. What do you guys recommend for rotors? I'm tempted to get Duralast Gold rotors so I can get the job done sooner, but I'm unsure of the part quality. I also see multiple other name brand options on rockauto.com for a similar price.
Pads were replaced 6 months ago.

I used a pair of Bosch 40011042. They were reasonably priced and were painted, so the non-stopping surfaces didn't get covered in rust. No problems, no complaints!

I have been using the autozone duralast rotors with their lifetime $25 ceramic brake pads. They last about 75-90K before they warp. Usually I go through 4 sets of free lifetime pads.

I had an Amazon gift card so I got the Bosch pair, thanks for the recommendation! I'll let you know how it works out. My pads don't have too many miles on them, so should be all good in the front after this.

I just buy the cheapest ones on eBay, normally around 40 bucks for a pair. No complaints, last set lasted about 80,000km.

I purchased the Autozone Duralast Rotors for 39.99 each. After burnishing the rotors, they were a perfect blue hue. I let them cool and the next day I was thrown into the windscreen when I made my first heavy stop. Needless to say, Autozone's rotors work fine.
