My rotors need replaced.. I'm not into the "bandaid" method of turning them.. Just makes em thinner and easier to warp... I sourced OE rotors but they are expensive.. I found these.. R1 concepts

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo

I ran a drilled / slotted set from R1 my 87 300zx turbo, no issues for the last 30k.. and I was hard on them.. BUT its a Z car..

The Q is a big car.. With big brakes.. Q's are unique and deserve quality parts.. I don't want to make it angry.. And I definately don't want the drilled and slotted crap, thats just going to encourage me to drive like an idiot..

I bought a set of drilled/slotted rotors off ebay and they were terrible, even after I indexed them to the hub. I bet you'll notice any vibration on your Q as compared to a Z.

Take another look around for OE rotors, I bought a front pair for about $$125 for the pair (Nopi online maybe) and I also have a brand new pair of rear Brembo rotors if you'd like to buy them.

I too use the brembo blanks and theyre a great alternative to expensive OEM.

I dont understand why you dont like turning? you can turn 2-3 times per rotor before theyre worn too thin..... better to buy expensive rotors turning them often than buying cheap rotors.

Love the drilled and plated Stillen Brembos. TR Brembos are fine, but not plated.

Q45tech uses PowerStop, and Porterfield are cryogenically treated PowerStop.

Centric makes two grades of fitment the cheap $27 warpo-matics [wholesale] and the near oem quality $73 [wholesale] is what I would use.

The good ones are black hatted.

I used iRotors.com one time - cross-drilled and slotted Bradi rotors and was pretty satisfied with those. Less than OEM costs and the Infiniti dealer even put them on for me!

That's what I like about the Stillen Brembos. At least 30K on them and not a hint of vibration yet. And I am trying very hard to detect it.

Best price is from Joe.

http://www.ininitipartsusa.com

Ocasionally he runs specials.

OEM pads work best if you are not sutocrossing or driving down mountains quickly.
