brake roter color

it rained last night and this mornign when i went out to my car. the rotors looked like there was a coat of rust on them then after driving to school i got out and looked again and it was back to the stainless steel look....anyone know why this happend? does this happen to everyones cars? thanks

umm is this ur first car? this is normal, especially in colder areas with tons of rain and snow.

...you will also see this after a wash...first brake and it will be gone...
