Dear all

I need to replace both front and rear brakes on my 2007 G35x. The dealer is going to charge me a total of 600$. I wanted to check if any of you can recommend good alternatives. Is it worthwhile to purchase parts on your own and get the brakes replaced from Midas/Meineke? Is the work just as good with this alternative?

Thanks a lot!

I would buy after market and replace do the work yourself. Let me know what exactly you need and I will give you the best price around.

I too need recommendations on new brake pads. I have an 2010 G37S with r-spec pads. These are pricey and would like an alternative if possible.

There are TSB's out for squeal issues that are beyond "normal".

Infiniti rotors should be ok to turn dependent on how bad they have been eaten up. A brake shop should measure first.

It should be good for resurfacing.
