I just bough some z32 brakes (4 pistons) and I wanted to powder coat them. But then I would have to rebuild them to do so and I don't know if they would still work as good as if they were nonirebuild. Will rebuilt brakes still work as good as non rebuilt ones? Should I not powdercoat them?

rebuilds work fine, in fact its probably a good idea to have them rebuilt even if youre not getting them powerdercoated or anything that would require a rebuild

Most brake calipers(and many other components) that you buy off the shelf at any parts store have been rebuilt/remanufactured. The "core" charge applied to calipers, alternators, starters, steering racks, cv axles etc, is to make sure you return your part that you replaced so the manufacturer can rebuid it. It saves everyone time and $$$.

So as long as your pistons and inner caliper body(fluid filled area) aren't rusty, pitted, scored etc., YES they should be good as new after a rebuild.

I don't know enough about power-coating to give solid input. Personally, I would make sure to find if powdercoating calipers will affect heat dissipation or not. I know people do it, but I wonder about that. Maybe I just over analyze, but who knows.
