Hey guys,I am about to sell my 91 240sx and it has been sitting for about 1 month. I have always had a small brake fluit leak somewhere that I cant find not want to take the time to at this point. Usually have to fill up the resivior about once every 2 months.Well, after sitting for so long it is now empty. I refilled it and now my brake pedal goes straight to the floor even after pumping it for a while and the brake light is on. I assume I now have air in the lines and that is why I am not getting any pressure on the pedal. I guess I need to bleed the brake lines but the only car I have ever done that on is a 73 Toyota landcruiser so I am pretty sure its a bit different. So, is there a secret to doing it? Is there a specific wheel I need to bleed from.... are there any tips or tricks I need to know? Not sure is it matters or not but it is a 91 with 4 wheel steering, antilock disk brakes all around. By the way, it can be yours for the low price of $2500 in Florida. Thanks for the help guys... Oh Yeah.. I did use the search button.

Please don't sell the car until you fix the problem. The new owner will likely kill himself if he drives it home.

You don't have air in the system, you have a leak which means somewhere along the line a brake line has failed or ruptured.

Either do it right by bringing it to a mechanic or don't sell the car at all.

The car wont get sold till its tip top. I dont see any brake fluid spraying out anywhere. I wish it was just a line. Its probably gonna by the master cylinder.. but I dont see fluid there either... Its a mystery.

I couldnt sell it as it is.. It takes a good 5 feet to stop the car at 5 mph.
