hey guys, i may be in the wrong forum, but i have a set of brake calipers from a 1992 infiniti q45 going on my 240sx and was wondering where to get good pads for them. i have looked but it seems that all the good pads are for the 97-01 model. also, is there a difference in the calipers of the different years? thanks.

hawk HPS pads are good forthe Q, but youd be surprised how well the OEM pads work... On such a light car, fade isnt much of an issue.... The Y33 and G50 have the same selection in pads, you just have to know where to look....

The xxU91 pads (OEM) will stop a Q well a few times in a row from 60MPH... I think that theyd be more than adequate for a 240 weighing almost half the Q. How will the car be driven?

Dorifto will probably be OK for OEM, but if you are high speed AutoX, then look at Hawks or even higher temperature pads with DOT4 fluid.

OEM will work best for street, racing pads the worst until they are brought up to high temperature.
