I replaced my front rotors with brembo slotted/drill rotors and new cheap pads...Im still using stock in the rears (rotors/pads)....after a couple of days I noticed heavy pad dust on my front wheels. I thought it was the ghetto pads I had, I bought better ones and while replacing the cheap ones, I noticed that they were cracked and falling in pieces. If this a sign of overheating, what can I do to check and identify/repair whats causing this.....??? Is like the front brakes are getting overworked....

thanks

most likely is due to a poor quality pad. i've beat the hell out of my stock pads and rotors, before i swapped to 300z brakes, to the point where the brakes were smoking and the rotors were a deep purple and not have the pads crumble apart, some small cracks and such can be normal when you are hard on your brakes but for them to fall apart is not.

again, most likely due to poor quality pads, i recommend oem or high quality performance pads if you don't mind the noise, such as hawks, project mu, etc. not raybestos or other crappy aftermarket pads.
