93 fastback 135000 miles 5 spd.Did a recent brake job, resurfaced the rotors, new pads in the back, but kept the front cause they have plenty of meat. I've bled the lines 3 times over, correctly I might ad (rear right, rear left, right, left). I still have this awkwardly late reaction from the brake system. It seems like the brakes work, but they dont lock up....slows down moderately, but not enough to really have greater worries for. Compared to my 91, the 93's brakes lock up at the last minute, kinda like it slows it down then locks up after you're almost at a complete stop.

I've also tried adjusting the brake booster's rod, adjusting the brake pedal and checking for leaks in the lines, none of those helped though....

I'm suspecting the MC, but it's not leaking anywhere. I didnt touch the proportioning valve so I dont think its the problem.

Ohh, and prior to the resurfacing and the new rear pads, my previous pads were shaved to the metal part and the pads were gone (in the rear of course). Any ideas on what else I should try?

Thanks in advance

Wrong bleed order. RL -> RR -> FL -> FR that's from the FSM. If you crawl under the car, you'll see that the left side lines are longer than the right side lines. You may still have bubbles. The other thing that is popping into mind is the BMC. It might be letting fluid swish by its piston. Might want to get a new one. Got mine for 40. Breaking in the pads shouldn't take too long. I drove my metal masters a few times around the block and they felt like they should. Ditto on my friend's s14 before he sold his car.

where'd u get the BMC for $40? I'm thinking that too, I had that problem with my 91, i guess I'll check em by swapping the pieces out first, if it checks out, then I'll buy it.....
