I recently got my 1991Nissan 240SX back up and running had to replace the starter in it now I have this new issue that just popped up when I’m driving it after a while my front brakes slowly start to lock up on me to the point where I no longer have to use the brakes and they get really hot and start to smoke… After they cool off or a day or two later the brakes are back to normal until i drive the car for a bit again then it right back to them locking up on me again so its was not just a one time thing.

Any suggestions or advice would be gratefully appreciated

Start by bleeding out the fluid. If that didn't work, than if both are locking up I'd say new master cylinder. The starter has nothing to do with the brakes.

^that or check the calipers themselves and for rusty slides or lack of lube

to Think of it, when I did my z32 brakes, I had to use a hammer and chissle to get the slide pins out of the stock calipers. There was no lube, what soever. Good thinking vernal.
