I have a 89 body with a SR20DET swap and when i first took my car for a drive, everytime i push on the brake peddle it kept getting harder and harder and so my brakes wont releasing. when i open the bleeder by my tires the caliper realeses, i can't figure this out. is it my master cylinder or brake booster?

Explain more, so as your driving your brake pedal gets more and more difficult to push down, and then your brakes lock up? Is it all four calipers? If so the compensating port in your master cylinder is clogged. I would just replace it there pretty cheap.

Ya it's like that but i'm not sue if all four are locking up becouse when i open the bleeder for one of the front ones only because they are the easer ones to get to the brakes release. My brakes don't just lock up it's every time i push the pedle witch is really hard till i open the bleeder they keep compresing and little release till they are on there. This has stumped me and is pissing me off cause i don't have as much time as i wish i can to check it out that's why i came to ya.

Well Get the brakes to lock up or watever, then jack the car up and see if they are all locked up. If so replace the master cylinder. And yes It can melt the resevoir=BAM no fluid/pressure
