I went to change the brakes on my nx2000 and, one of the slide pins on the right front caliper is seized up. i couldnt get it out so i went to the last option, drilling it out. well needless to say it failed(not a big deal i was already screwed). i called up a nissan dealer and they cant get the part. nissan no longer makes the parts. and guess what. no salvages have any nx's. well heres my delima, i got in touch with a local parts store and they found the mounting bracket and caliper for my 1993 nissan nx2000... wrong part, its to small, the bracket wont even go over the rotor and the caliper is smaller.
My car dosent have nx front brakes. i am like the 4th-5th owner of this car and im in the prosess of fixing all its problems. so somewere down the line of all the owners of this car someone upgraded the brakes with factory parts off another car. i thought that the nx had the biggest brakes that fit on the b13 chasisam i wrong? anyone have any idea what my front brakes could have come off of? i am doing all i can to avoid the $1000 big brake upgrade becuse i dont have the extra money and i need the car. any help is appreciated.
