Well, lets see how i can start this off, i had bought some new rotors for all around, well i had changed them all, and when i had put back on all the calipers i had blead each one, well when ever iam bleeding the pedal gets hard, but when i turn on my car, the pedal is all spungy, and about to drop to the floor, before i had change the rotors, the car would atleast stop without a hesitatin. I had blead the brakes atleast 4 times, going in the correct pattern, which it should be done, but same thing. Anyone know whats wrong, please any help would be nice thanks the car is a 1990 240sx

Wrong forum(should be in susp/brake)...

but anyway, are you losing fluid when you brake(while the car is on)?

EDIT: and do you have ABS?

I have a '98 and bled the brakes myself, and it actually works for the first time, everytime. Its one of those kits you can buy from napa, or autozone. It has a little resevoire w/ a magnet on the back. You fill it half up w/ fluid and open the bleeder valve, pump the pedal about 12 times, check for bubles and close her up. The trick is that you posistion the resevoire using the magnet on the frame or wheel well HIGHER up than the bleeder valve. Always works for me.

EDIT: did you put on new pads? The brakes can be spungy for the first bit after new pads.
