you may have glazing on the rotors....check and see if you can get them resurfaced.....if you're under warranty go to the dealer asap. Stopping is the most important thing your car does and you odon't want to risk it not doing that...

It's tough to diagnose...I agree with Chris, take it to the dealer if under warranty or a decent brake shop if out of warranty.

Welcome to NICO! Care to share pics/mods of your G?

ahhh the plot thickens....your new pads are seating into the rotors. Try not to do any panic stops while they are breaking in.

I'm not a brake expert...hang tight, others will chime in.

Oh, and please don't type in all CAPS, it's distracting and comes off as yelling.

Yeah sounds like there is a funny issue with vacum power brake assist....another brake bleeding could be the cure....take it back to whoever did your brakes and tell them to redo that...

I've been doing/running a summer brake job business since i was 14 for people....i'm pretty good with them :-)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't air in the lines or excess water absorbtion make the pedal soft, not hard.

I'd personally question the ABS.

Also Eaglez. Do you know what type of brakes were installed on your G? If so, would you mind, taking a moment and filling out this brake poll?

Tough to diagnose without being there, but sounds like your caliper is sticking. What else is the car doing besides vibrating a little? Is the front of the car braking more than the rear? Is the car pulling to one side? After the pedal goes hard, does the pedal pressure come back?
