Well after taking the V in at 6000 miles and the dealer changing the pads out, we have are still having an issue with the brakes. We took it back soon after, and they are still squealing to the point of embarassment! So DH took it in to a different dealer than the one we purchased from. And the tech said to DH "They haven't put a service notice out "YET" for the rear brakes". So they did some things to the rear brakes, and we now have no noise! NOT! On the way home they still did a slight squeal, but it is a marked improvement over what it did sound like. Ahh Nissan's famous brake issues. Oh by the way the V has 10,000 miles on it now.

You should contact the Nissan service center manager/supervisor directly, these people do they maximum effort to not change and replace faulty parts they always tend to fix them instead.
