Can anyone tell me how to get the brake piston back in to put the caliper back together? I tried releasing the E-brake, undid the master cylinder to release pressure, let some break fluid out of the caliper, tried with the car on and off, tried using a C-clamp to push it back but nothing worked.

Thanks for any advice.

you gotta rotate the rears on s13's. that's why it has the grooves in the piston.

ok guys, i must be missing something.....damn im a noob.... Ok so im able to twist the piston both directions and neither moves it anywhere. Is there something else? I removed the E-brake and tried twisting it with the master cylinder open and closed and nothing moves this piston back or forward.... Is it possible to have a seized piston but still be able to twist it?

Thanks for all the help!

Thanks for the input guys. I got it fixed now, seems i didn't twist it enough. I used the lock / release tool for a grinder to twist it and they work awesome for it. All fixed!

I just wanted to bump this thread because I had exactly the same issue as the OP and I searched to find my answer (and found it!)
