Brake Pedal Shaft...

89 Maxima, one owner, 250K miles...

Brake Lights won't go "OFF", because the Plastic/Rubber, or, bumper/groment that is inside the welded actuating bracket on the Brake Pedal Shaft, (makes contack with the Brake Light switch) has fallen apart... Now there is just a hole, and the Brake Light Switch can't make contact...

How hard is it to pull the Brake Pedal Shaft?

I wouldn't bother pulling pulling the pedal, you can just pop a new rubber piece in and go. If you need some just let me know and I can send you the ones I have as I no longer need them.
