I've talked to other infiniti owners and they have the same problem, it doesn't happen everytime but when I push on the brake pedal it makes a clicking sound as I press in, it only makes the sound once I push on it, it doesn't make multiple clicks just one as I am pushing in then it goes away? almost sounds like a spring or something? has anyone heard or had this problem? how do I fix it?

I haven't noticed it in my 06 M45 nearly as much as I noticed it in my 99 Park Ave, but it sounds like the typical sound of a switch engaging the brake lights / cruise control cancel signal.

Its just the Brake switch. I'll admit its a bit noisier than in other cars, and I've had customers concerned about it. For one customer I repositioned it a little closer, so it activated quicker, and it seemed to be a little quieter. Even though I just did it out of curiosity. Also, he had a G35, but they are the same brake switch. Nothing to worry about though.
