rear pads were paper thin just got in from changing, fronts still have half meat. why is pedal still hitting low have not blead yet

How was your brake fluid level in your master cylinder? If you are loosing fluid than could be bad M.C. but, I no fluid is lost can be a faulty ABS Control Module. Bleed brake system first and then go from there!

I don't think pad wear and the brake pedal hitting bottom are related. Did you open any bleeder valves during the pad replacement? In any case the soft pedal indicates a fluid issue. Time to flush and refill. Then look for leaks.
