Im wondering if brake pedals can be adjusted laterally. I know this may sound weird, but is it possible? Ive seen a swapped car that was auto before, and he got an SR clip and swapped engine along with his auto trans for a manual.

...BUT, his brake pedal is way far from the gas pedal.

If I were to do a trans swap, would it be inevitable that the pedals turn out in such a weird spacing arrangement? Heres what Im talking about

any suggetions...? Thanks

Its both cases on that guys car... BUT i just mean spaced too far to the left. I know its possible to adjust pedal height rite? Im just wondering if one could slide it sideways [to the right] in this case.

He said it was due to the brake pedal being wider in an auto car, and when they swapped, it has a different position or something...

thanks again

there is no side to side adjustment on the pedal. you are going to have to rig something up most likely. like use the larger pedal portion of the auto or have a larger pad welded to the existing lever assembly.
