Brake Pads - EBC Red Stuff

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I did a brake pad change about a week ago. I used EBC Red Stuff and am very pleased with them so far. I have 47,000 miles. The rears needed replacement, only 2 - 3 mm of pad left. The fronts were actually not bad. The dealer cut all four rotors under warrenty when I was in getting a MAF sensor replaced.

There is a huge differance in braking power. I know it is not fair to compair old pads to new, but I was suprized how much improvement there was since the pads were not worn out on the front.

I have had a little squeel in the rear when you first touch the pedal. But as soon as the pads start to bite, it is gone. I'll have to see how that goes.

Summit Racing. They are carrying all kinds of parts these days. They had the best price that I could find on the pads, belt, and air filters. Their price was not so good on the cabin filter so I passed on that.

Do think my wife would look at me funny if I put 5 point harnesses in? They have good prices on those.
