so im doing a 5 lug swap on my car - 1991 nissan 240sx hatch
got hubs and rotors on no problem but when i went to swap the brake pads, the ones from autozone arent long enough?

i dont have abs, and when i first bought calipers i mistakenly bought abs ones. they had little metal brackets attached to the pads that my pads do not have and didnt seem to be the correct size.

took them back and got non abs pads and they look right but are shorter than the calipers

heres a size comparison of the ones i took off vs what autozone gave me. (ignore teh red, didnt bother masking off the pad when i painted calipers because i was going to swap anyways.

also the top pins on the caliper bracket dont come out on either side. the bottoms slide right out but the tops even with me beating the living s*** out of them dont budge?

Besides ABS yes/no the calipers often change as well, bigger used on the more hi-perf versions of car.................parts book running time.

For the pad size, I'd just take the ones you know fit to Autozone and go through some variations until you find the correct one. Should be able to check non ABS, ABS, S14, S13, Q45, etc.

Do the top pins slide in and out, and just not come all the way out?
