I apologize if this has been asked numerous times, sifted through what i could find and found some great info but couldn't pair together what others have suggested due to cost. But i was hoping someone could offer some insight into the choices i might go with.

Rotors:
SP performance Slotted Brake Rotors - from past reviews these seem like the best option even though they run about $320 a set.

Pads: Have a few choices here
Ferodo DS2500 - Now obviously these are the best option but they come at a high price. Id like to spend a little less without sacrificing performance and reliability if i can.

Hawks
- either HPS pads or the Performance Ceramic Pads

EBC Green Stuff Pads

I have heard good and bad about both Hawks and EBC so curious to see what your thoughts are. I only have the 2.5 so were not talking high HP here, but i do like to brake late into turns and drive aggressively when the road dictates, ie. have fun.

If you wanna really upgrade your brakes. Get the akebonos, they retail for $1000 I think.

Anyways, answering your question. I had EBC rotors and Red stuff Pads, it was great.

Yea just slightly out of my price range, haha. Yea was not sure if i needed Red stuff pads or green stuff pads. How was the noise. I heard mixed reviews where people complained about the squealing but i always assume those are the ones that did not install them correctly. I am torn between the SP slotted rotors or the EBC rotors. I guess the benefit to buying the EBC rotor with pads is they were tested together, but i feel the SP slotted rotors are better quality. How long did the EBC rotors and pads last?

Thanks for the reply too.

I had them on for 6 months then upgraded the whole OEM brake setup. No noise whatsoever.

Excellent thanks for the review. Looking like EBC brake pads for sure, now i just gotta decide on the rotors. Just gotta get rid of the stock rotors and pads the squealing is driving me insane, not to mention its time.
