I am ordering rotors and pads today and am trying to find opinions on pads. I am getting the rotora non brembo drilled/slotted rotors but dont know what pads. I only found a few things about hawk and its 50 50 as to who likes them. Was also looking at Axxis Ebc and Rotora but havent found much except Axxis has alot of dust. Any suggestions?

First off, make sure the company you order it from knows what they are doing.

The G has had 3 different front rotor/pad setups from 03-07 (excluding the 07 Sedan which has yet another setup FWIK).

There was no Brembo Option in 06. I have used and still use the Hawk HPS pads. My only complaint is that the brake dust is slightly burgundy in color versus dark gray/black.

Other than that, they grab harder than stock and are actually nicer to the rotors (from visual inspection) than the factor pads.

I'd like to try a different brand, but the Hawks are a great price and I know what they do so it's hard investing in something else. Good Luck!

Not a fan of the Hawks anymore.

Ferodo DS2500 for me from now on.

BTW, dust is your friend. Low-dust pads are for old people and people who don't want to get the most out of their brakes.

Just wash and "WheelWax" your wheels more often.

Problem with the Ferodo is it specifically states it will be noisy on the streets. I can handle the vibrating noise that I had with the powerslots and hawks, but squealing is not an option. What's your experience with them?

Haven't heard a peep.

They have massive bite, even when cold. Once they get to track temp, they're ridiculously effective.

What did the pads set you back for all 4 corners Greg?

I'm looking into what I'm gonna go with next.

Have you tried the Project MU ? I've heard nothing but good things about them
