I am trying to install OEM akebono brake pads but they didn't come with those thin clips that attach to the back of the pads. Do I need the clips if they didn't come with them? Should I use the old ones? Should I still grease the back of the brake pads if they don't have clips?

Do you mean the tuned antivibration insulation shims? These are sold separate from oem brake pads.

Yes, the shims. So I have to go buy those now at any local auto parts store? I ended up putting the pads without the shims. I greased the pads and the bolts. But, now I have two more problems. I can't remove the rear disk because it is stuck... I had to buy an axle nut for it but it's still impossible to move so I will try again tommorow.

Also, on the front right side the wheel seems to be off. It won't fit correctly on the rotor.... I think the caliper is slightly off and is blocking the wheel from sitting correctly on the rotor so I'm gonna have to remove it again tommorow and try again. Meh, I'm tired....

Yeah, you'll need the shim kits. If your local parts store doesn't have them (for the sake of speed), check out one of NICO's long time sponsorshttp://www.infinitipartsusa.comCALL JOE FOR ALL YOUR PARTS NEEDS, 1 888 216 5328
