do not try to push the rear pistons in- turn them clockwise, i used a channel-wrench. The front you can just push in with a clamp.

yea i did all mine on my 96 when i got it. it was really easy, but you should have your rotors turned if they are bad at all. auto-zone does it for pretty cheap.

i changed my rear pads and had to turn the caliper with needle nose pliers. It was hard but I did it. Much cheaper than taking somewhere. Its pretty straightforward.

I struggled for 4.5 hours yesterday . .. trying to twist/turn/push/bend whatever i could do to make that rear piston move in for the newer beefier pads . .and guess what . . . . didn't budge a single friggen millimeter. So I gave up and put the old pads back on . . .any help? ideas?

I had to put a vice-grip on that sucker to loosen it up and after that it started turning pretty easy(sort of). Just watch the rubber s*** if you do it that way

There is a tool for doing the rear calipers. Don't know what it's called (maybe caliper piston tool?), but it fits on a 3/8" drive ratchet and it fits into the four notches on the outer edges of the piston. I had to push and turn clockwise simultaineously. Be sure to spray lots of WD-40 on the rubber boot on the piston, or it can rip. Also, don't forget to take the cap off your master cylinder.
