I was out changing the brake pads on the front of my '90 S13 coupe and when I went to push in the piston so I could slide it back onto the new pads a minor leak sprung out of what looks like a bottom control arm or steering line. My first guess was that it was a brake leak, but that quickly seemed irrational and I figured it was a power steering leak. It was a rather small leak, but still a leak is a leak and I'm left to the good ol' boards to tell me if I'm going to die within the next week or not :p

Thanks in advance.

Should have posted this in the technical or mechanic section. And about your problem, I have no idea. NISTECH, where are you??

lol...Your fluid came out of your brake master resivor...the fluid that is in your caliper has to go some where when you push the caliper back in right? what it does is it goes back in to the master and over flows through the top. This is normal but a note to make here when ever you compress calipers with out opening the bleeder make sure your master cyl cap is unscrewed so it wont put to much pressure on the other seals in the system. it will allow the fluid to more freely return to the master.

I laughed at first cause it took me a second to figure out what you were saying cause I am so used to that fluid coming out like that being I could do 5 or 6 brake jobs a day sometimes.
