Brake master cylinder wiring

I am replacing the BMC on my '89 240 with ABS. The old one is a tokico and the new one (pulled of a '91 parts car) says SS on it. Anyway, the wire harnesses on the two cylinders dont seem to fit together. The harness fits right into a 'socket' on the Tokico one, but there is no socket on this new one. Rather they wires and a plastic plug come out of it.

Should I cut the plastic plugs off and splice? There is a blue wire and a yellow wire coming from the car and a black wire and a black wire with a white stripe coming off the new BMC.

Any help is very much appreciated!

doesn't the plug for the low level indicator sit in the reservoir? I'd just switch the reservoir over and deal with it that way.
