brake master cylinder swap, help!!

okay here's the 411, my brake master cylinder is broken, i have a 91 240sx, manual, obviously with the ka24de. a friend of mine is selling a master cylinder off of his 96 240sx, also manual, and also with a ka24de. are these parts interchangable, please help, if it is, is there any modifying???:help

The bolt pattern should be the same since both cars accept a Z32 MC swap. As for the cylinder size, I'm not sure, but I wager a fair amount that they're the same.

the s14 and s13 M/C are different, you cant just interchange them, especially if one is ABS and the other is not.-chet

thanks for the help, yeah my s13 is the model with the super hicas and with abs. so the MC from a s14 would also have to have abs oberations too right, if it does then can you interchange them, bolt pattern, and lines and all??. ( just a question does all of the s14's come with abs?? )

No, they all don't have ABS, the ABS is different anyways between the two models.

Just get the correct master cylinder... it's one thing you don't want to monkey rig.
