I'm about to do my Z32 brakes (finally); just piecing together the final parts necessary. Well I got the Z32 BMC for my brakes (think they're 26mm but may be 30 aluminum). I bought a remanufactured BMC from a local autoparts store and I guess they don't come with the reservior. So now the question is, can I use the reservior from my S13? It looks like the spacing between the holes are the same in comparison, however, it could be possible that the inner diameter is different. I've looked around and can't seem to find any places that sell just the reservior (just in case). Anywho, any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry. Don't know about the reservior. I thought reman BMC always come with reservoir.

Anyway, how about middle hole? If you don't have ABS, you will have to use all 3 holes and middle one won't have a fitting inside. Are you going to cut one out from old BMC and stick in there? I bought a new one from eBay and it came with everthing including 3rd fitting already installed.

I'm working out the details on the middle hole. My Z32 BMC has a 4th hole. It's small and located between the two that are together, and the one by itself, and has a rubber plug in it. Any idea?

I'm not modding the S13 res. unless you mean taking taking it off and putting it on the Z32 BMC.

I'm hoping it will work cause then I wouldn't have to mess around with the fluid sensor plug.

That's what I'm thinking, the hole behind the plug is very small, pinsized.

Wow, I have never seen that before. You mentioned it is a re-man. unit, what size and who was the original manufacturer? Nabco or Tokico?I have been considering going this route for the 1 1/16" M/C. Some stores do not list the size specifically or show nothing for the ABS equipped Z32.

I know. I found this by accident. It's Nabco 17/16 BMC. Not sure it's reman or new, but everything looks brand new. I was glad that I didn't have to mess with Dremel to take out the old fitting from s13 BMC and install it on z32 BMC.

I have learned that some parts sold as re-man. are in fact new, due to lack of cores or simply the newness of the part.I have decided to upgrade my booster to the auto transmission version so I may as well upgrade the M/C while I am in there. It also happens to be the oldest part of my braking system so I may as well replace it while I have the cash to throw at it. I'll keep lookin'.

I bought it from this guy. I checked again, and it was brand new Nabco 17/16 BMC. Make sure to ask him about the 3rd fitting.

Mine is a Tokico. I ordered it for a 1990 N/A 300ZX (what the brakes came off of).

It appears the ABS MC's have the mystery hole.

Update: Mystery hole could also be on the non-turbo BMC's vs. Turbo'd models.
