Hello,

97 240sx Front - Kuhmo MX 235/45/17 38psi 25% tread remain -2.5 Camber 0 Toe Caster stock 300zx calipers Powerslot Rotors Nissan Pads (Semi-Metallic) SS Lines

Rear - Kuhmo MX 255/40/17 38psi 75% tread remain -2 Camber 1/8 Toe in Caster stock Stock calipers Stock rotors Project Mu NS Pads SS Lines

I have had problems with the front locking up. I recently upgraded the rear with the MU NS pads and SS lines. I was hopeing to get a little more rear bias. No go.

My front drivers brake is locking up when I get on them. It locks up at a point where I think its a bit to soon.

I could bleed them another 100 times but I dont think thats it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Try dropping your front tires down a couple PSI -- this may have negative consequences for you because Ecsta MX has a softer sidewall as compared to other UHP tires.

Additionally, try dropping you front camber half a degree. This will decrease your cornering performance, however.

When do you find yourself locking up? While trail braking on turn in, or braking in a straight line? What master cylinder are you running? Have you tried adjusting your driving style to suit your tires?
