brake line retaining clip removal.

how do i remove the retaining clip attached to the front brake line that holds the brake line on the strut bracket? i mean which way do i push it? the thing is hard as hell. i could use force but im afraid im gonna brake it and wont have a replacement. the car is an s14. thank you

It essentially just slides out away from the line. One side should have a small tab that sticks out. I usually just tap it out using a hammer on the back of a screwdriver. It's not terribly hard to remove.

i did the same thing, hammer with screwdriver

i then used a hammer to get them back on the coilovers

I snatched mine off with the needle nose.

****, i just noticed that i spelled break wrong ( i meant break instead of brake). english is so complicated. oh ****, it rhymes.
