So last night the pathy was parked on the driveway for the first time in a week. I was outside this morning and noticed a wet spot under the rear axle. So I crawled underneath to see whats up. It looks like the rear brake line was leaking and had just started that night. I say it started last night cause I had been driving the truck throught the last week and there are no spots in the garage where I park. I went for a quick drive and the pedal felt fine...drove for about 5-10min stopped looked back up and saw it was leaking again. So I tightened up the hardlines into the t block dried everything off again and took it for a another 10min drive....it was still leaking...so I dried it off AGAIN and went and pumped the brake...sure enough there was the leak. Appears to be coming from UNDER the Tblock. No leaking from where the hardlines go into the block or anything. Im wondering if the actual tblock itself is cracked? I will try and take some pics and video tomorrow as it is now dark outside...but im pretty pissed about it...my 50 dollar custom extended rear line for the truck. Took nearly a month to get and ill be pissed if they dont help me out with the situation. So any other ideas on how to try and alleviate the situation?

Its going to take another month to get a 27in long brake line, and another 50bucks. Calling the company tomorrow to complain. The line has only been on for around a month or so.

So there's a crack in the T-block on the axle?

Could be because the hose was yanking on it, could be because the flare nut was over-torqued. Spec is only 11-13 foot pounds.

Nope top of the line is perfectly dry and dusty...and the hose has plenty of slack even at full flex

get somebody to pump the brake so you can watch for the leak, as you're laying under the truck. remember, gravity will make it drip towards the bottom...

what brand brake line are you using? do you know the part number? i bet you're using an ISO flex line, where your nissan needs an SAE line. the ISO line will screw into the SAE junction block just fine, but the different flares will not seal.

I ordered the line from KORE3 Industries. Its a custom made line, flexcore braided stainless steel kevlar all that junk. I used a m10x1 female inverted flare for the top and a m10x1 FIF T Block. That block may be the cause of issue, but I only recently noticed the leak like in the past week it had been installed for a month without issues prior. Now you have me wondering. I got up under the rear and looked while my dad pumped the brakes ect and the leak seems to be coming from under the block. I will take it off the axle to get a better view tomorrow. I took pics tonight but they are shotty quality cause of the dark.

if you can pinpoint the leak, a quick temporary fix could be a couple layers of teflon tape, or even teflon paste.

Well the leak is tiny, it just bleeds a little bit is all. I have been driving the pathy around town for a few days and have not noticed a drop in fluid level. I always thought you are not supposed to use tape on a fitting like that?
