brake lights wont turn off

I got a 91 240sx and my brake lights wont turn off. I replaced the brake light switch and checked the fuses. What I need to know is what the little rubber piece that is under the pedal is called and where I can get it from.

Have it, courtesy parts should, Stopper rubber? Well they have a diagram so you can see the exact one you will need. If you have junkyards try any nissan M/T's brake pedal. Some ppl go to ace ane use trim tabs / rubber grommets too....

Yeah there's a hole in your brake pedal arm where there's suppose to be a rubber grommet. If you can't find a grommet to fit it then you can use a small bolt and nut together or you can use the little plastic door panel clips with all the grooves in the stem.

Watch what you use tho.. metal bolt might eat up the switch? (might?)

Ehhh, probably not but if you wanna be safe and you have no other choice you could use a bolt with some tape or RTV on the head to soften it up some. I mean, that's if you can't find a grommet in the size that you need. I have a door panel clip in mine and it's been holding for 2.5 years now.
