GOT HOME LAST NIGHT AND WHEN I WENT TO PULL
MY EMERGENCY BRAKE, (I PARK ON A SMALL INCLINE SOMETIMES)

THE BRAKE LIGHT WONT GO OFF. EVEN AFTER I SHUT OFF CAR.
ITS IN BRIGHT MODE TOO....LIKE WHEN YOU PRESS ON BRAKES

I LOOKED AT FUSE UNDER HOOD FOR REAR LIGHTS....STILL GOOD

WHAT SHOULD I BE LOOKING FOR?

WHERE SHOULD I BE LOOKING?

HOTTER THAN HELL IN THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS

KIND REGARDS

the rubber brake pedal stopper on the brake pedal probably has worn down and fallen out

This is for 4th gen. The lock nut on the "input rod" must be adjusted so the "stop lamp switch" will turn on and off correctly.
You can find the switch and input rod at the top of the brake pedal. Be sure not to get the stop lamp switch
mixed up with the cruise control switch
