Hello. We just bought a slightly used Versa last month and are not sure if we're having an issue with the brake lights or not. When the headlights/tailights are turned on, the tailights only get slightly brighter when you step on the brake so it looks like you're stepping on the brake all the time when the lights are on. Is this normal? E-brake is down.

Also, anyone else have issues with any of their window seals becoming loose?

Thanks,LiquidSmokeGTS

not sure about the tail lights, but if by window seal you mean the weather stripping around the door, then yes... the rubber seal is constantly coming loose where the door opens and im always fixing it =\

I have the same issue with the weather stripping. Every couple of days i check it to make sure that it hasn't popped back out. It only takes a second or two to put it back.

The tail/brake lights does sound like a problem, however. If you have a hard time telling the difference between the two that is a problem. Was your car in an accident where the tail lights needed to be replaced? perhaps they were not properly wired in.

If your car is only slightly used, the warrantees should still apply. Have a dealership check out the tail lights.

It's also possible that someone replaced the bulbs with one that has a higher wattage tail lamp or lower wattage brake lamp.

It's worth checking.
