Brake lights staying on!

Does anybody have any suggestions? I cannot find the brake light switch.

if you stick your head down where your pedals are and look up, you'll see the brake lamp switch. the pedal touches this switch when the pedal is up and releases it when pressed down. the switch should be blue. if you have cruise control there will be a green switch next to it.

loosen the retaining nuts and adjust one or both of the switches so that the pedal presses them in completely when the pedal is up and then tighten the retaining nuts.

you should check the rubber pieces that connect the pedal to the switch. no rubber....brake light stays on.....battery dies!!(nissan $2.35 each)
