Hey everybody - New to the maxima forums but I am pretty active on the 240 side

Here's the prob. - I have a 2000 Maxima SE and the emergency brake light on the dash will not go out. It started over the winter here and there when it was cold. Now it stays on all the time.

The brake is not engaged but it never goes out. Has anyone ever had this problem and if so - how to fix???

you should get your brakes checked too the fluid level is low probably because a set of pads is about worn out. the fluid in the resivor is calibrated to drop to the light level when the caliper pistons extend to the point the pads hit the warning indicators.
