Brake light warning light on dash comes on when engine is running and headlights are on. Comes on when brakes are applied and headlights are off. Also when lights are off, the parking lights and instrament panel lights come on when brakes are applied. All bulds were checked and are working. I also just changed all tail lights to LED. They work fine.

There are bulbs out somewhere. The JDM bulbs also have a different resistance for some god-forsaken reason, so if you have JDM tails, that's where I'd look.

It has to be one of the four main bulbs in the tail light though, since it's on when the headlights are on.

Your new LED bulbs do not have the same resistance of the OEM bulbs. There is a tail lamp relay/module that monitors
the complete circuit resistance, located in the hatch tail lamp area. If the resistance falls outside the specs (ie, a bulb burnt out or new lamps having a different resistance then OEM), this will activate the indicator on the dash. Some people just snip the wire that runs to the dash indicator to the relay/module or get the proper bulbs.

Oh, duh. Whoops. I need to check my reading comprehension. That's twice this week.
