Hey, i have a 98 s14 and brake lights don't seem to be turning off. I've tried a new switch and that didn't work, and I also pulled the fuse and nothing happened. any suggestions???

I know on the older Nissan trucks there was a plastic plug attached to the brake pedal arm itself that would press the brake light switch when the pedal was released. Over time that plastic plug would get brittle and fall out thus not allowing the pedal to contact the switch anymore. The brake lights would remain on all the time because of this. I replaced the plug with a nut/bolt.

^ yup, that is your problem. Replace it with a bolt and nut so it never happens again!
