OK so recently for some reason my brake light on the gauge cluster comes on. It seems to come on and off at random times, but seems to always go off when I make left hand turns but comes back on when I straighten out. I can feel that the ebrake is not engaged bc i pull on it and can feel it engage. Any clue?

If you take off the center console there is a really cheap looking sensor at the base of the ebrake handle, you can try messing w/ it or replacing it. My car has light on 70% of the time but sometimes it will wiggle around or something and work as it should.

Don't just add fluid.

It means it's time to change the pads and cut the rotors. Hell, you may have to replace the rotors now because it probably went to far into the pad.

Same problem happened to me, I had to change the brakes, and the calipers were seized up. After replacing, everything was fine and dandy again.

great advise.

rarely your brakes will be fine and just be low on fluid.

if you are like i was, when my brake light would come on, i had new brakes and was waiting on wheels to fit (z32 brakes, and z32 wheels) so i just added fluid. but my rotors and pads were shot. so you should really check those brakes. very important

pads and rotors are in perfect working condition.... no griding or anything. Pads have plenty of life...

did you add fluid? ive seen tons of cars with good brakes, but after a brake job, calipers fully depressing, the pads starting to wear, everything fully seating, all that can push the level down. it could be just below the minimum, check the fluid level, top it off and check the light again. just because the lights on, does not mean the brakes are in need of replacing.

if not, its the parking brake plunger switch, easy to adjust.

Maybe you have a cracked bajo fitting washer on one of your caliper/line mating points. Check em all. Also, massive white rust on your lines can make for an intermittent leak.
