I am haveing a problem with my Rear brake lights staying on.... Even when my light and car is turned of they remain on... I have no idea why, People have said maybe a fuse but I really doubt that. I was wondering if maybe you could help me with this problem.

The only thing I could think of to cause this is, The other day when I had to stop very suddenly doing maybe 40 mph, and what I was thinking was maybe I caused a line to binde or something, thanks for your time I would appreciate the help.

look around on the floor of your car by your pedals. You'll most likely find pieces of plastic that will form a circle about the size of a nickle. That will be the remains of your broken "Grommet". It goes into a whole in you brake pedal and rests against your brake switch and turns off your lights when you lift your foot off the pedal.

It's a $1 and some change at any Nissan dealer so just go there if you find the broken pieces of plastic and tell them you need a grommet for your brake pedal cuz yours broke

Had same prob, simple rubber stopper that plugs into a hole.. Use needle nose to get it in the hole while pressing the brakes (start the car so it is easier..)

Until you get a new stopper, pull out the fuse (inside compartment, drivers side) for the brake lights so you do not run down your battery :-)
