Brake Light Replacement

Has anyone else replaced the brake light bulb on their Sentra? Access is ridiculously difficult. When I picked up a new bulb at the parts desk of my dealer, I asked the young guy if he could show me what had to be done. He took me over to a new 2012 Sentra on the showroom floor, then gave up after a couple of minutes saying he'd never done it and didn't want to take the whole rear trunk area apart to get in there. Got home and figured it out myself, but once I got the tail light assembly open, I fiddled with the existing brake bulb and the light came on....figured it was just loose and put it all back together only to discover it wasn't working again. Had to tear it all apart a second time and put the new bulb in. Why can't they give owners a simple access door to change bulbs. If I had asked my dealer to replace the bulb it would have cost an hour labour to put in a $3 part. Ridiculous!
