Ok, here's the situation. When I turn off my car or even while I'm driving. The brake lights are always on. I also noticed broken pieces of plastic where my pedals are located. I found a piece of plastic once and it turned out to be a piece of plastic that was connected to the clutch pedal which in turn pushed a button that let the car know that it was pushed in, so I could start the car. I fixed that with a little bolt where the plastic once was, but I was wondering if there was something similar to that located on the brake pedal, because of the broken pieces of plastic. I don't believe its a fuse because I pulled it and it looked good. It has since been completely removed for the batteries sake. I'm worried about driving in traffic now. I definitely don't want to be rear-ended. Any help would be much appreciated.

yeah, there is a switch on the brake pedal that turns on your brake lights. there may be more than one for different circuits. look up at your brake pedal and check the electrical connectors that are plugged into stuff.

I dont know I can't hardly see anything and the brake pedal goes pretty far up and into casing.
