my girls father checked it today and he said he didnt see a problem with the rotors or pads. Pads were changed about 6000 miles ago. So i will check the fluid tomorrow.elwesso wrote:Check your brake fluid level.
You probably need to replace your pads and rotors too.
yea cuz now when i change the pads it always says pads worn. I didint add that hes not a certified mechanic. I know its just brakes but, i think im a get a 2nd opinion cuz i didnt geta chance 2 check em out yet but im almost positive its the rotors.lasoyafan wrote:You might also try grounding the sensor for brake pad wear since most shops don't replace it with the pads and it gives you the warning 24/7
Hm well I grounded my sensor after seeing the light and it went awayqsiguy wrote:The pad sensor give you a message in the message center not the "brake light". I'd say more likely fluid. Double check your parking brake as well, if it's even pressed a small amount the light will turn on. I've bumped it a few times getting in or out and it's came on. Pull the handle and pull up on the park brake lever with your hand to make sure it's all the way up.
The other symptoms do indicate you need new rotors or at least have them turned and get new pads.
Check your ABS relays.deknick wrote:i'm trying to fiqure out my traction control lights and why they're both on
thx man, that definetely was it,low fluid.deknick wrote:the ebrake light being on, indicates that you are low on fluid, i just called the infiniti dealer, and that's what they told me, cause i'm trying to fiqure out my traction control lights and why they're both on
