brake light in window stays on???

third brake lamp? a short would cause it to stay on. try tracing the wires back into the car.

also noticed this morning when i press the brake pedal... the interior lights on dash board came on.....not sure what's going on....3rd brake light stays on but gets brighter when i press the brake pedal.

you should start by pulling out all of your rear bulbs and checking to see if one has melted terminals on the bottom or corrosion. that will cause backfeed issues like you have.
